Overview
Double Eagle Apps LLC ("Double Eagle Apps," "we", "us") builds mobile games and apps, including Queens Count, Backgammon, Solitaire, Chess & Checkers, Poker, Kathy's Weather, Coin & Note Manager and Nomad. We respect your privacy and aim to collect as little personal information as possible. This policy applies to all Double Eagle Apps games and apps.
Information We Collect
- On-device data: progress, statistics, collections and settings are stored locally on your device. Most of our games require no account, and — apart from the account-based features described below — we do not collect your name, email address or contact details.
- Analytics (if enabled): pseudonymous, aggregated usage data to help us improve our games and apps.
- Advertising: our games and apps may show ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process device identifiers (such as the advertising ID), coarse location inferred from IP address, and app interaction data to deliver and measure ads, subject to your consent choices and device settings. - Leaderboards (optional): some games let you submit scores to a leaderboard through Google Play Games Services. If you opt in, your gamer profile and scores are processed by Google under Google's Privacy Policy. Leaderboard participation is always optional.
- Kathy's Weather — location area: the app asks for a US ZIP code, which is sent to our servers solely to retrieve your local forecast, alerts and radar from the U.S. National Weather Service and to prepare the spoken forecast. The ZIP code is not linked to your identity, and forecast content is cached by region, not by user.
- Account-based features (where offered): where an app offers social or account features — such as Nomad — we collect the information needed to provide them, which may include a username, email address, and the content you choose to share. We describe this in more detail within each app as those features launch.
How We Use Information
To operate and improve our games and apps, fix problems, and deliver advertising as described above. We do not sell your personal information.
Data Retention & Deletion
Because our games and apps store your data on your device, uninstalling the app deletes it. Region-level forecast caches expire automatically within days. For account-based features, you can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the address below, and we will delete it except where we are required to retain it by law.
Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information handled by our games and apps. No method of transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices & Rights
You can reset or withhold advertising identifiers in your device settings (Android: "Delete advertising ID"; iOS: "Allow Apps to Request to Track"), and manage consent within each game or app where applicable.
Depending on where you live — for example, in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California — you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of certain processing. Children's Privacy
Our games and apps are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area, where a higher age of digital consent applies), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
